Factor Hanzo Track Bike w/Black Zero Wheels
Developed in tandem with the Black Inc Zero Track wheels, the HANZŌ Track proves to be an elite tool for world record performances.
In collaboration with Aus Cycling, Factor designed the Black Inc ZERO Track disc wheel to be as stiff as possible. To enhance rigidity while reducing weight, the wheels feature buttressed internal flanges, creating shear walls between the opposite wheel faces. This new technology allowed for the elimination of several stiffness plies in the overall layup. Extreme attention to detail in the alignment, cutting, and layout of the top layer of Spread Tow fibers (TexTreme) enabled them to eschew any cosmetic outer layer, further reducing weight. Results from extensive wind tunnel testing with the Aus Cycling project showed that a polished finish proved to be the most aerodynamic.
